Parade Day Dress

 

 

 

I had a vision for this dress for a year, and it finally came to pass! I love the fabric and although I sewed the skirt to the dress incorrectly a few times (!!!! late night sewing!!!!) I did practice some new techniques that I have been converted to, namely using seam binding on the collar and using a zig zag stitch over a small ribbon to gather.
